Since 1928, for three generations, Ascherl Studios has been designing and producing stained and leaded glass windows for residential, ecclesiastical and commercial applications throughout Ohio and surrounding states.

As the oldest studio in northern Ohio, we have been commissioned to produce thousands of pieces for residences including transom windows, entryways, bathroom windows and cabinet door panels. Most of our work can be installed directly behind existing glass, eliminating the need for costly removal of your existing window. We also have the ability to install our glass panels into a thermatically sealed unit (triple glazed) that provides superior insulating quality.

Since its existence, Ascherl Studios has been commissioned to design and produce hundreds of stained and leaded glass windows to the place of worship. Virtually every denomination of religion has been clients of ours. We also provide full service restoration of existing windows, ranging from simple “in place” repairs to full restoration and complete re-lead. We provide exterior storm protection as well as interior and exterior frame repair.

We also offer some unique custom gifts that can often be ordered online without ever visiting our showroom. Wedding, Graduation and First Communion panels are the most popular and often can be produced within a few weeks of placing the order.

Another service we provide is replacement of bent lamp panels. These antique lamp panels, often called "slag glass," are slumped in our kilns at 1200 degrees. Clients from around the United States ship us a representative panel to be reproduced.

Rarely do we ever make an identical window and photographs alone will never show the quality of the craftsmanship that makes each piece unique. We proudly provide references upon request.
